So this is a blog we began making during finals week. Perfect timing as
always. Our title "Secrets of 244" is referencing to our freshman
apartment number where we all met and became besties. We pretty much
have crazy fun days every day, and now we're recording it for our own
personal benefit to laugh at later in life.
One of my favorite memories from the grand Young Hall is one that began as a pretty typical event for girl roommates. We drug our mattresses into the kitchen so that we could all study together while being comfortable, of course! We had left our apartment for ward choir or something, and when we came back our FHE (family home evening) brothers came with us to our apartment. What do you think happened the second they walked in? Yep. Mattress fight extravaganza. It was a combination of body slamming with mattresses, supermanning from the top of the stairs onto the mattresses, and seeing how many people can pile on top of a mattress with someone underneath it. (I never said it was safe...) The aftermath included bruises and disfigured mattresses, but it's definitely a good memory!
